Europe Trip Day14 – Barcelona-

Europe day14.

It’s been two weeks since I started this trip in Europe, and this day was the last day in Barcelona. Our flight was around 8pm, so We woke up early and tried to go to places that we wanted to go.

Our first destination was Park Güell.

The park opens 8 and you need to buy a entrance ticket (7.5 Euro), but its free if you enter before 8. So we went there 10 min before its open. I remember that it’s kinda far from the closest station (20min walk), and there were so many steep hills in that area.

The main thing in the park is buildings and houses which Antoni Gaudy artitected. They were unique and “cute”. Seemed like he always had a theme for his art and they were likely way different from the others.

The park looked huge, but we only saw Gaudy’s buildings and walked around the park little bit, and headed over to the next destination.

Walked to my Friend, Saya’s recommended cafe, Dulcinea where have a hot chocolate and churros.

The way to eat was dipping the churro to a hot chocolate. Hot chcolate was really rich and it wasn’t too sweat, but some of my friends couldn’t finish it haha

After having a break fast, we went through a market and arrived at The Palau de la Música Catalana .

The Catalana is a concert hall which was designed in the Catalan modernista style by the architect Lluís Domènech I Montaner. We visited several buildings by Gaudi, but this concert hall was the only one designed by another person, Lluis Domenech. We bought a ticket for a guided tour at the entrance (16 euro), and we walked around until the tour.

Our guide explained the history of the Catalana, and the architecture. The Stained glasses were so beautiful and it was worth paying 16 euro to join the tour.

The next destination was casa Batllo, which was also architectes by Gaudy.

And Casa Mila

But entrance tickets of those two architects were so expensive; they were like 20 Euro, so we gave up going inside and just looked from our side.

It was almost time to fly back to France for Hana and I, Germany for Shino, and England for Maori.

It was really fun trip with my best friends, seriously one of the best trip ever even though Europe wasn’t my best choice. They made my trip twice, third, or even more better, and we restore some blank years which we didn’t see each other after graduating.

My last destination of this Europe trip would be Finland with Hana. We tried to hunt the northern light.
